CLARITY THAT MOVES

Coaching that is not aimed at self-optimisation – but enables real development, with a sparring partner at eye level.

“Those who reflect on their thinking and take responsibility realise their potential – which is precisely why we consistently implement the self-developer at Lilly.”

The Self-Developer

The philosophy of the self-developer is a tried and tested approach to self-management – developed by psychologist Jens Corssen and anchored in the German economy for over five decades. The aim is to enable people to reflect on their inner attitude, take responsibility and develop their potential effectively.

Since 2013, this approach has also been communicated internationally – through lectures, seminars and coaching sessions in medium-sized companies as well as in global DAX corporations. As the only trainer personally authorised by Jens Corssen, Andrew Bannon combines the substance of the original with international experience, a pointed appearance and a feel for what really moves people – live, online and globally accessible.

THE PHILOSOPHY

The 4 tools of the self-developer

In today’s working world, experience and expertise alone are no longer enough. Mental tools are needed to deal with change, complexity and pressure with confidence – both personally and as part of a team.

The four tools of the self-developer provide exactly that: a tried-and-tested basis for self-management, clarity of thought and responsible behaviour. In company-internal formats, they are not only communicated, but made tangible – understandable, challenging and connectable.

Self-Awareness

I am the witness and examiner of my thoughts and actions.

Thoughts often run on autopilot. Self-awareness means recognising patterns – not judging them, but understanding them. Observing your thinking creates space for change, clarity and self-coaching.

Self-Responsibility

Where I am, I want to be – everything else has been too expensive for me so far.

Responsibility begins where excuses no longer have a place. Those who stop apportioning blame gain influence – on attitudes, decisions and results. Self-responsibility creates freedom.

Self-Confidence

I am more than my behaviour – and I grow with every piece of feedback.

Self-confidence arises when clarity about oneself meets the willingness to develop further. Those who do not fear criticism, but seek it out, play the inner game with attitude – and thus gain impact on the outside.

Self-Conquest

I choose pain – because it is the price of change.

Change does not come from comfort. Those who dare to overcome gain clarity, room for manoeuvre – and in the end: happiness. Because happiness is not a reward for standing still, but a reward for overcoming
