THE SELF-DEVELOPER

The idea of the self-developer goes back to Jens Corssen – psychologist, consultant and one of the best-known experts for attitude and behaviour change in the German-speaking world. He has been teaching for over 50 years: If you want to change something, you have to start with yourself. The greatest power lies not in the outside world, but in our own thoughts, feelings and actions.

The philosophy is based on four central tools:

Self-awareness, self-responsibility, self-confidence and self-overcoming.

They form the basis for effective self-management – in life and in business.

“We strive to inspire global teams to develop a shared understanding to bring about sustainable change.”

How did I become a self-developer?

My path to becoming a self-developer began in an unusual way in 2011Jens Corssen’s assistant heard my speech at my wedding, was impressed – and put me in touch with Jens

This was followed by two years of intensive training by Jens, parallel to my Master in Coaching and Behavioural Change. In 2013, I gave my first presentations on the philosophy of the self-developer – initially in English, later also in German – for international companies and organisations.

Since then, I have continuously expanded the range of topics and brought the philosophy into new formats: seminars, coaching sessions and keynotes – live, online and hybrid. Jens has not only remained a mentor to me during this time, but has also become an important companion in the further development of this philosophy.
